BEAUTIFUL ORANGE DAYLILIES AGAINST THIS STONE BACKGROUND

These daylilies were just too heavy for their thin stem, so they fell over on the patio.  I thought they looked so pretty on the stones.

"STARS IN THE GARDEN ~ ORANGE DELIGHT"
(Lynda Bergman)

Usually, I stake them and forgot about this flower bed.
They're saying we have a chance for rain, several days this week.  I certainly hope so!
The daylilies and my whole yard will be very thankful!

    1. Normally, they have thick stems but, these were growing in the shade and that's why they were top heavy. When I saw them lying on the stones, I just had to take a photo of them.

  2. I've always called these tiger lilies. Around here they bloom around the Fourth of July. Yours do look pretty against the stone.

    1. Mine bloom in April/May/June and are so beautiful and colorful. I love orange!! I believe tiger lilies have dark dots on the petals. But, there are so many different varieties that some might look like my daylilies.
